I will be starting work as an Embedded software engineer for Collins aerospace as a full time. I had gone through administrative processing and got an RFE/221(g). Questions asked: Where will you be working? When will you be starting ? How did you find Collins aerospace ? Why are you considering a switch ? (In which I had mentioned I was laid off due to budget issues, with 9 others) Green slip and in there are documents that I have to email the consulate like resume etc:. I have my start date on 2/17/2020. 1) If I push my start date would it be an issue, this is the second time I'm pushing my start date. Fuck immigration. 2) how long does it generally takes for them to get back? Am honestly tensed and sad because my understanding is that ages 25 - 30 have the golden chance to get lots of hikes and I'm missing out on all the golden experience, will probably be taking up a course in the meanwhile. Does your occupation come under TAL (Technology Alert List)? If so, your going to get RFEs every time you renew h1b

Defending as in ? They are giving the required documents like employment verification letter n all. How should I be expecting my company to defend ? (Just to get some context to shoot them an email)
That's weird. See h1b is for high skilled labor, and this visa is filed by an employer so they must give strong reason why you are any time better than a citizen they could hire. Does that make sense?
