For how much should I insure my hands?

Had a dream my hands were removed (turns out they were tucked under me while sleeping and went numb) which really scared me waking up since I thought I had no hands in real life.

After this false alarm, I realized my livelihood starts and ends at a keyboard, and without hands I’d struggle to make ends meet.

That said, I’m thinking about how much I should insure my hands for should something happen to them. Also curious to hear others that have done this.
