  • NSE is in India - you could signup for trading thru hdfc or Icici ..etc
Coming to Nasdaq- easy way is to look for a mutual funds that give exposure to foreign stocks/sectors of your interest. There is another path that some hni (high net worth)’s take - open a foreign account by converting your inr to usd or other currency. I think rbi has set an annual limit on money you can put into that type of account.

There are a couple of services from Vested Inc and Global investing(tie up with HDFC securities). I heard it is not an easy process to buy stocks through these routes as there is a lot of paper work that is needed. The services I mentioned above aim to simplify some of it but YMMV. Another route is derivates trading through something like etoro which claims to also allow you to buy the actual underlying share as well(not very clear on this aspect) - I don't know exactly how this one works with respect to taxation and RBI compliance but it is available for Indian citizens.
