Companies demanding RTO will have attrition issues since talent will have no issues finding alternative remote roles.

      I think it balances out.

      Sure remote people get less face time but also get an extra two hours a day of work as they’re not commuting

    Other side of the coin are folks who want to return to the office (because people are social animals), and leave for jobs which make them happier.

      most folks don't move beyond E5 and are just resting and vesting. You focus and leetcode and switch every few years to maximize comp.

      Remote will always be disadvantaged when it comes to promotions and raises tbh. Second would be people who are not in same office as their leadership like if you report to Redmond fromm atlanta but this is still better than being full remote since you get to experience in person networking
