What silicon companies are in San Diego other than Apple and Qualcomm?

Physical design verification. Open to switch into DV instead but it would hard.... So just wondering. Qualcomm barely has any PD/PDV jobs, that leaves out only Apple. Thoughts?

  • Cadence, Synopsis, Mentor, Ansys AE roles should also be there in SD. If you go north- Maxlinear, Marvell/Inphi/Broadcomm

  • I see no one has answered. That’s mainly because those are the only big ones unless you want to get into a field sales role.

    Samsung could be considered another one. So you have Apple, Samsung, and Qualcomm

    I know companies like ARM have FAEs in San Diego. I think a few other semiconductor companies (TI, AdI, etc) have very small offices that they have their field applications engineers in.

    No big semiconductor hq offices other than Qualcomm and Apple
