Hi all,
Was hoping I could get some feedback on my Amazon job offer working as an Account Executive in Amazon Marketplace
L4
Base - $66k
1st Yr Bonus - $58k
RSU 1st year - ~$6k
Total Comp - $130k
YOE - 6 years of sales experience.
The base seems awfully low even by Amazon's standards. But I feel that Amazon is more likely to increase my bonus or my RSUs. Saw someone else from Amazon (AE - L4) post on here stating that they their total comp is $155k so kind of feel that I'm being low balled.

Most of my sales experience is account management related and non-technical
Not having technical sales experience is definitely holding me back
Try negotiating/ trading bonus for salary.
How many shares are they offering over the 4 years? You don’t want to dig into this too much as this will help increase your pay YoY
I’m hoping to get $150k TC and I would be flexible with base pay if they can reach that number
As an L4 AE you will more than likely be the first fat trimmed when your team is underperforming.
On top of that your comp is low because this is the .com side of the house. I would really recommend having a serious conversation with the recruiter about whether or not this role is truly a good fit for you
Also on a comment about DGRs for AWS. They are out earning this offer for the first two years of employment without commissions. Just some food for thought
I’m not seeing any open positions for DGRs
Is that usually an entry level role for people wanting to sell AWS?
I’m seeing a lot of lead development representatives job postings for AWS so I’m wondering if the title has been updated
