Ummm.. help me understand.. how are you not a immigrant and not a citizen?
Non immigrant aka h1b - legal words I guess
Indian?
How are you non-immigrants and not US citizens?
Lol
https://internationaloffice.berkeley.edu/immigration/nonimmigrantvsimmigrant-status Looks like a lot of people are going to need to read this real quick
He/she could have simply stated - on visa ..
If you aren't an immigrant and aren't a citizen what are you?
It's average priced depending on location. As long as you like it can afford it not sure what type of guidance you are after?
I am wondering if I should move and try to save whatever the extra $200-$500 I can per month towards a house. However given that we are pregnant and on h1b - moving or buying a house would be difficult
Extra 200-500/mo will take you 10 years to help with a down payment. Rent4life until you move to a lower col. It sucks to throw the money away every month, but you get some freedom to run away when the market tanks.
2750 sq ft on one-third of an acre. >$1600/month mortgage. You are totally getting screwed.
Not bay area prices
Where do you live mlrt65? Which city? This looks like Ohio prices. We used to have a townhome for that price.
Park Place
TC ?
Base pays total together: $320k; but one of us might be losing our jobs later this year due to lay off if another job isn’t found soon- different issue
You make a ton. How much are you saving for a down?
What's your school's rating?
Hmm... how do I find that out? I am new to all this in the US
