Facebook Production Engineer rejected but invited to re apply in a few months

I kinda bombed 2 of the modules earlier this year but did really well on the rest. The recruiter invited me to interview again in a few more months.

Is this a common path? I'm going to try again but I'm curious from any PEs if this happens and if I should not get too worried and buckle down and fix my problem modules.

  • Typically they ask you to not re-interview for a year so them inviting you back sooner indicates you were right on the edge or they thought the ones you bombed may have been a fluke.
