Ladies and gents, trying to get some feedback on whether housing expectations are realistic or not... Wife and I are relocating to Bay Area and currently looking for a 2BD rental for under $3k. Been to a few viewings that fit the criteria but seems pretty far and in between so far. Ideally in San Bruno as I’ll be working for Youtube while having public transport nearby to take into SF as needed. Anyone have recent experience that can offer some wisdom? Been looking mainly on Craigslist. Also afraid San Bruno might be too noisy due to highway and airport nearby. Thanks for any insights in advance!
Use Trulia or ApartmentList. Plenty of 2 bedrooms for 2800-2900 in nice buildings. If I had a second income partner I would do 3k. But trying to stay around 2.5k for one persom.
