It will be very interesting to see which sector or economy will lead the charge in the next recession. Last time around it was financial derivatives + real estate, but finance has effectively been neutered so I doubt it will look the same. Could be China or a broader consumer spending slowdown in the USA. There’s always the question of what we are not seeing / the black swan lurking out there. Legitimately coronavirus came out of nowhere and has threat potential.
