Recruiter call two and half weeks after on-site

Three weeks back I gave an on-site for one of the FAANG companies for a leadership role. Today the recruiter reached out to me via email and said final piece of feedback will be in by Monday morning and wants to setup a call later in the day. Is it going to be a rejection? If the final piece is coming on Monday morning, wouldn't they need more time to review? What do you think?

Anything is possible. Late feedback means that others feedback was good else they would have said no. They may ask for another interview if it is G or FB

Thanks for your response. It's kind of weird that the recruiter mentioned the final feedback will be in Monday morning

Managers might have been busy. I think you got a good chance. Stay positive

Because recruiter mentored final piece of feedback is coming br Monday morning, I am thinking of couple of scenarios. 1. Rest of the feedback is bad, so courtesy call to reject the candidacy. 2. Actually all the feedback is collected and they have to put it through hiring committee, so the call is to inform me that it will take more time to make the decision

I think rest of feedbacks are good. Maybe waiting for last feedback. As long as not too bad, you will get it. Otherwise you would be rejected already.

If it's FB then it might mean a rejection too..

Their fave candidate just turned them down. They are coming around to backups now
