I received a random call out of the blue from a guy with a thick accent (could barely understand him) and didn't sound ethusiastic/friendly at all saying they were looking for data scientists. I asked what company and he said Apple. Is this a scam? Most recruiters from top tech companies are well spoken and sell the role with excitement, which is why I thought he was a fake. And why would Apple recruiters just randomly call people, wouldn't they email candidates instead?
That's a outsourcing firm looking for contractors for Apple
Yeah, definitely a scammer. Everything about this sounds fishy
I got a Google recruiter reaching out similarly. I asked him to send an email to confirm authenticity and to actually know about the role details. He did and was in fact authentic. Don't judge too soon!
Ask him for TC
It’s most likely an agency looking for contractors for Apple. It is not fake
