I have been contacted by a Datadog recruiter not too long ago for a SDE role which fits perfectly to my career goals and skills but have been at Red Hat for < 1 year, so I decided to push interviewing for a few months for now. I like working at Red Hat a lot but I think DD can offer me a great career opportunity. What should I do? YoE: < 1y TC: 🥜
No one gives a flying fuck if you don’t stay long at a company. Everyone knows the game.
You're asking like you have an offer from dd already.. go get the offer and let the money talk
Just interview and delay your start date.

Mostly worried about how staying just for a few months at a company will look like on my resume
It won’t look like anything at all. I bet if you posted a poll on here asking how many folks had a sub 12 month or even 6 month stint at a company, it would probably be well over 50%. Plus your goal is career growth at the new company and they reached out so clearly they don’t care
