Referral - Twitter/Amazon/Microsoft/Lyft/Uber
Hello all, I am 2 years out of college and am looking for referrals to SWE roles at above companies due to location switch (NYC to Bay area) Have 1.5 yoe as a trader/engineer hybrid at a hedge fund and an internship at Citadel before that. Have a bachelor's in CS from an ivy. Leetcode: 400 Much appreciated.

Even if that citadel is an internship I feel like it should hyper carry. Citadel is absolutely insane, at least from an outsider’s perspective.

With citadel internship, you shouldn’t have problems getting calls from FAANG.
Just apply like the rest of us dude. Everyone is hiring like crazy. If you’re worth your salt, they’ll pounce on you
Yeah, I hear you. I'm a little concerned because my experience is in finance, and I'm too far removed from college to apply for new grad roles. Kind of stuck in a weird middle ground
Do you have projects and such that can demonstrate at a quick glance that you know what you’re doing? I’ve seen recruiters resort to them for people that don’t have a history in software
