Hi Everyone, I am looking for some help to get a reference for PM role in Canadian product companies I have 9+ years of experience, [Microsoft + Adobe] and currently working as a PM in Microsoft India Development Center. Due to some personal reason, I have to move to Canada but really finding it hard to get job interviews while applying through LinkedIn. Unfortunately, Microsoft doesn't have a big establishment in Canada and literally zero PM openings hence I have to look out for other companies. Really appreciate if the folks here can help. [ Note: I have a Canadian PR so no problem in reallocating] I am fine with any company big or small (startup) as long as it is a product company. Some of the companies which I found through my research and would be grateful if folks can refer are : Amazon - [ Already in process, for an onsite interview for their Vancouver office] Shopify - Intuit Tableau Tulip Retail Any startup in GTA or Vancouver area
I see. Thank you for your reply.
What kind of role are you looking for? Check out Transit App(https://transitapp.com/). If you are interested in any role, I would be happy to offer you a referral. It's a startup, best working environment I have found + Montreal is a better city than GTA or Vancouver
Thanks for the response. Actually I am looking for Product Management role. Company looks cool but unfortunately i didnt find any openings for PM.
Goodluck :)
Don’t bother working anywhere else apart from amazon ,shopify, tableau and Microsoft .Its just not worth it .Canadian companies pay shit and the cost of living is astronomical. You can try Instacart too
Thanks prague. Do you have any contact in instacart ?

Avoid teams with only Chinese or Indians especially with a Chinese/Indian manager
Looks great company. How about visa sponsorship?
Unlikely, since we are a startup.
