Have you ever referred your husband or wife to the company you work at? My husband recently got laid off and I was hoping to refer them to a job at Citi. Wondering if other people at Citi know what the protocol would be. What's it like at other banks? If you've referred your partner to a position before, what was the experience like? I'm afraid I'm doing something that is frowned upon even though it might be okay on paper.
Yeah I was able to. If they plan on making an offer there's a extra hurdle that your manager has to approve too. The further away from your line of business or if possible even different sector the better.
At Citi you can certainly refer your spouse. It's not frowned upon. It's just important for them to accurately complete the questions regarding their relationship to employees at the bank when they apply.
Citi is huge, shouldn’t be an issue

Worried that our top performer is an attrition risk. How do managers handle this?
