I actually really like this policy. It incentivizes strong performers to congregate and work together to kick ass as an org. It also incentivizes managing out low performers who are hurting the team. In Amazon you will get the best comp by joining an org full of low performers where you can stand out as the top performer. So dumb.
It breeds a shit culture of backstabbing, credit stealing, and posturing if anything.
Top performers can’t do much if they can’t collaborate effectively.
Which orgs have good refreshes? Which ones have bad refreshes?
