Lack of diversity in engineering division at X
Don’t be . I once had a list of rejections … must have been like 30.. still got an offer from Amazon Google Microsoft and Apple. Just keep trying .. big part of it is pure luck .. the right interviewer at the right time against not amazing other candidates..
you took Amazon over GMA?
No. Did my time at Amazon (1 year), moving now to Microsoft
If you prepared for one interview, others are just social chat. Don't stress out
Hello fellow rallyer. I have seen you around in blind. Are you also actively interviewing and if so, how’s your experience been? I am finding it hard to clear interviews and have failed many tech screens.
Yep actively interviewing. If you are not worried about higher salary, there are companies who don't care that much about algorithms or coding.
Either you’re not doing as well as you think you are technically, or there’s something sub-optimal with your communication during these interviews. Clearly your resume is good enough to get interest so that’s not the problem. Msg me if you’re interested in chatting.
On the same boat, I can totally relate the feeling.
You got to the last stage at both Amazon and Google. That’s much more than a lot of people can say they did. If you got this far with them, you will eventually get an offer from other companies.
I received 3 rejections and was fired from my job the same day. I know how you are feeling right now. Don't worry buddy, at least you have more interviews scheduled. Good luck, you will be fine!
Oh my. How are you doing now?
Found internal offers so I am not too bad. Still interviewing though and waiting to hear back.
I can relate too. All I can say is keep going. Something is gonna click.
Don’t give up. At least you are getting interviews. I hear nothing back even with referrals for some reason (resume already reviewed by other people)
I know how that feels.. but keep going, you'll get your turn
Have you done any mock interviews and gotten some feedback? Maybe your doing something wrong, or just need the practice.
Thanks a lot for your feedback, Nope I didn't do any mock interviews. May be I will try next time I am applying to companies 🙏🙏
You should do it now. Pause and then apply. They really help. Opportunities are always there, it’s not like you are unemployed and looking for job.
