Rejections everywhere
So,,, I am so lost I went to 5 onsites (3 startups and 2 big companies) and found out today it is all rejection I have been preparing for the last 4 months everyday but I suck.. 2 big companies are Amazon and Salesforce, which supposedly has relatively low hiring bar. If I fail them, how will I be able to do any other companies that are harder than them I suck #interview
Interviews are a two way street - sometimes itβs not a match or a fit with the team. Also there is a lot of luck involved. So give yourself credit that you reached the onsite stage and are closer to finding the right job for you.
I passed in my 17th onsite mate, keep pushing

I have been searching for a job for the past 8 months and could not find one that wants / suits me. Don't get me started on number of rejections. I'm just surprised that the way recruiting works hasn't really changed much in decades despite advent of technologies and sites like LinkedIn, Glassdoor appearing on the scene.
Are you a SWE? Is the FB name not working?
I would think Facebook would get you in somewhere...
How did you get into Yahoo ?
I had like 8 onsite rejections last year.. to top that I started off 2020 with a rejection as well .. lol .. first onsite results came out today and it was a fu*king reject .. although i thought it went fairly well.. response was "my experience was not aligned towards their tech road map.. other candidates were more aligned" whatever the F that means !! ... gone are those days when pple told you the real reason like you suck at coding or whatever... have 3 more onsites lined up and feel super low ..

It is so exhausting to get up everyday with a thought that something will change today. Iβve been to 2 FAANG onsite in the last 2 months and got nothing but rejection. I wonder how I got responses from Apple and amazon but donβt get any response from other companies like square, sf etc.. what can I do?!?
