Have Airbnb interview on Thursday. Prep for the interview is going good, but feeling burned out at work and due that not feeling đŻ confident. I had rescheduled the phone interview with Airbnb too. Is it safe to do it again for onsite? TC: 310k YOE:6
If youâre going to do it, do it now instead of Wednesday. Keep in mind that anytime you postpone an interview to a later date, you risk losing the role to someone else.
Just do lc hard tagged on lc I got asked from there in phone and onsite.
How is Instacart?
How'd you get an interview at Airbnb? I never seem to get a reply from them
How about you try to help OP with their question first before they answer yours?
It should be safe to reschedule
The goal of recruiter is to find candidates. But the catch is finding good candidates. But they also have a deadline - they do not want to waste their time on candidates who arenât interested or wonât make the cut. So youâll have to speak with them as if youâre a good candidate and just unable to interview at the moment. This goes for any company. Tell them work has been hectic and you havenât been able to prepare as much as you wanted to, but include stuff you have prepared so far and explain I need a few more weeks so I can finish additional 100 problems etc. this will indirectly tell them you have a higher chance of clearing the interview. Works on every recruiter. And can you refer me to Lyft?
Frankly, as a recruiter, I donât really care about the reason when a candidate needs to reschedule. Just do it at least two days before the interview. Itâll make both yours and your recruiterâs lives easier. Cancelling the day before or day of though is obnoxious af unless itâs due to something serious and specific, like a death in the family. Not some vague bs âfamily emergencyâ.
Well that means you are a decent recruiter. Keep in mind that there are plenty of recruiters who absolutely change their tone once things arenât their way. Speaking of Microsoft- Iâve had an experience with a Microsoft recruiter in the past. Ghosted me. But another recruiter was the opposite. Very professional.
I donât see why not? You can cite work conflicts like a last minute project that will absorb your attention. I would assume most recruiters are more empathetic these days. No harm in rescheduling IMO, people have busy schedules
Can you please refer me?
No one cares, just reschedule it.
^^^agreed OP. Just do it sooner rather than later.
No problem, fine to reschedule
