Research engineer, Google Brain

I will finish my Masters degree in computer science next year. Dream is to work in Google Brain as Research software engineer. Which requirements for this position: algorithms, machine learning, papers in conferences, etc.? Also, please share any information related to this posiotion TC, etc.

Research SWEs are very competitive positions. Most of them that I work with have their PhDs. If you want to be competitive without one, you'll need to either have lots of publications in ML conferences or side projects that have lots of impact.

Lol, new grad. Step 1: Clear G phone screen. Step 2: Clear G onsite. Step 3: Move protos for 1 year. Change UI for another year. Then think about Swe in Google Brain.

For Google if you join as new grad. You will be loweballed for sure. But if it's 🧠, take it. You work for your future not TC.
