I have around 5k for now that I can invest and am ok with completely losing it. The first steps I have taken is to create a coinbase account, and transferred money there. While the money transfers, I want to study up a bit on how the crypto currencies work, what/how to trade etc. Can anyone please point me to good resources to better understand these concepts, or monitor the next big thing entering market etc. For now should I just buy and hold ethereum?
Pm me if you like to understand my perspective on crypto
Also all Btc mining contracts will run dry by jul 2018 becoz of increasing difficulty of roughly 6% every two weeks. But will be still profitable for 10 months of mining

I did investment into cloud mining around 4k. I found it profitable as well. Everyone has their own opinions for buying n holding vs mining contract lifetime or 2 years
Which cloud mining provider are you using? How long have you been doing it?
I do monero, Ether and dash mining with Genesis and Litecoin and Btc with hashflare
