Any horror stories where Resume Driven Development was followed and while you learned some shiny new tech stack the team and project was a disaster . What did you do next ?
Nothing you can do... the second those projects get approved you have to start interviewing. Unless you have faith in the outcome and feel it will actually help your resume as well, and not just the guy that submitted the proposal.
Resume driven development? What does it mean?
Lol... whet the heck is that
OP, have you witnessed any horrors of rdd?
Yes. Worked on a project that could have just used a regular database but management decided to use NoSQL since it was new . Then they decided to add a bunch of more stuff to over-architect it . Everybody came for a few months to a year or two and then left . I was stuck on a visa and wasn’t able to switch . Got stuck trying to fix and make it work - was a nightmare .
