My boss just got fired (VP of product) and I’ve been promoted to Lead (DevOps) Engineer from Senior DevOps Engineer. They also fired another Senior level engineer, and we’re lacking a VP of Engineering currently. What should I be asking for in terms of raise? TC: $140k with 10% bonus annually What should I be expecting to receive in terms of compenstation? They’re a financial company, so they’ve got tons. Additionally for my career with these positions lacking what should I be doing to advance?

Wouldn’t that be nice.
Ask them to roll up all their salaries to you
Sounds like an Amazon idea haha.
20% at least
Probably 180k plus 15% bonus
Also start planning for an exit if you think the people who were fired were fired for the wrong reasons
