I got let go from Netflix a year back for team fit issues (was there 8 years, reorg happened and my skills didn't fit the new team). Thinking to try again for Netflix at different team. Do you know anyone that has come back to Netflix after being let go? Do they get scrutinized more/360s read/previous managers questioned?
Does it matter
If it’s only been a year, former colleagues and managers will likely be asked about you. I would certainly ask if I was the hiring manager. Did you gain new skills that make you more relevant now?
Gluten for punishment?
I definitely know people who were rehired after being let go for the reasons you outlined. You should definitely reach out to recruiting!
Why not? Your skills may match another teams needs.

Did you go from Netflix to Intel?
Even that surprised me
What options are there? Microsoft doesn't recruit unless you know someone on the inside.
