I left Deloitte and was contacted to return half of my tuition loan. I responded to the email asking for a few documents, but they haven’t replied - it’s been 2 weeks. Should I follow up or have they forgetting about it/don’t care if I return them the funds? They have already paid me for my PTO balance and all other reimbursements. #consulting #deloitte
I paid my bonus back ASAP because I figured even if it did slide under the rug for a bit that eventually they would do an internal audit and contact me randomly in a year when I’m not expecting it. With that said, I have yet to return my laptop and phone and it has been over a month and I haven’t heard anything more about it
I believe the separation memorandum states that you have to return all equipment by your last day. RIP to your credit if you don’t figure it out Edit: Why didn’t you return your equipment when you turned in your badge?
Is it sign on bonus?
They will drop it for months and then come back saying you have like 5 days to pay back or they will send you to collections. This process is terrible and reps change out often, as to the reason why it gets brushed under the rug for a period of time
When did you leave?
Honestly just save the money in a risk free account or if your comfortable keep it in the market and wait until they provide documents and ask for it back. This is just a contractual agreement so hold on to it until they respond so that you can earn money in the market.
