I’m thinking of joining Amazon, but I have heard a lot about the review process. I know there has been talk about it changing, but I can’t figure out what it is currently like from my interviews. Is there still the “anytime feedback” program? How are objectives set or followed? I know probably varies a lot by groups.
Review process is very different now. Only talk about super powers, and strengths
There is no more anonymous anytime feedback, but the Kudus system for positive feedback that has the senders name still is around. The Forte annual review actually isn't a performance review - it's to help your professional development. Separately managers asses your performance and assign ratings that then are tied to your compensation. Managers used to tell you ratings, now rarely they do and you have to ask or guess.
That seems more stressful

Review process doesn’t matter for those who are hard working and have a good team and boss
Which is rare to have all three.
