Recently, I gave interviews at Flipkart for SDE-1 and was informed by the recruiter that I am selected. I have 1+ yrs of experience. The compensation negotiation is still pending. How is the WLB and the culture of the teams at Flipkart? And do we need to work from Mon to Sat or Mon to Fri?

My day starts at 10:30am and by 6:30pm I'm usually free. Our manager actively encourages us to explore new concepts, optimisations to existing workflows, identify and solve for tech debts and bad customer exp among many things. In my team we actively motivate each other to ensure that we write clean code and build stuff in a sustainable manner which will require minimal maintenance in the future. As a result of this, on-call is very trivial as we usually don't face many issues.
What grinds my gears, however is the central infra that is there. The CI/CD platform is a big source of frustration due to added unnecessary complications. Apart from that, frequent moratoriums due to various sales throughout the year greatly reduces productivity around the OND quarter as good portions of Sept, oct and Nov are locked down for most services and deployments.
Did you find this out?
Culture is also bad..
Plus they are calling employees to join by 1st December
