I’m currently at Oracle seattle working in their cloud infrastructure team. My cliff is coming up and my TC drops to around 390k. I have brought this up to my manager and he said this is expected.
I have a L6 Google offer for 450k in Seattle. Should I take it or should I try and have Oracle to match it?
It is odd because my google offer was less than my Oracle offer long ago even though the market has become more competitive. I have also been rejected by Amazon for L7 even though I used to work there.
YOE: 17
Current TC: 510k

Also not surprising because OCI in Seattle pays higher than Google for similar levels.
