Should the employment contract cover the notice period if employee resigns?

The termination clause reads:
Effective Date and Term: This Agreement shall be effective as of June 1, 2022 ("Effective Date") and shall continue thereafter, unless the employee’s employment is earlier terminated by the company upon 30 days’ advance written notice (the “Notice Period”).

So, basically the employer must give the employee 30 days notice before termination. But does this say anything about required notice period if the employee resigns? The contract doesn’t cover this in a separate clause.

    Most states and maybe even most of the country can't make you into a slave. So usually an employee can quit whenever they want to. Read about at will employment
