Watched the movie, and was deeply disappointed that the entire footage showing the Indian flag(total atleast 8 secs) has the flag inverted, green on top. I find it bad edit, and shows how less folks care about India, I am sure if it was another nation it would have been redacted, apologies issued and what not. As a nation, we need to start caring about our image, else we will always be a nobody on the world stage
Pretty sure that was a sideways ivory coast flag
I think I saw the Ashok chakra once, definitely
Don’t read into it. This could have easily happened with dozens of European flags. Everyday people rarely see flags of other countries anyway. It absolutely would not have been redacted if it were another country because people wouldn’t over react.
Ah, take it easy man. Patriotism is good. Be angry at the right things. Not if someone holds a flag wrong by mistake.
Typical insecure Indian mindset! Look how tolerant people are in the US, where you can even legally burn the flag and your freedom of speech is respected.
First you do a PhD on Indian culture and let me do one on US culture, before we both comment on each other's pros and cons. Savvy?
Dude , dont go there. What aspect of indian culture are u proud of? Please don't give me religions examples. Dont confuse religion with culture
How come most Indians have no offense with trash littered streets, but holding a flag down is so offensive? And had it been other nation, nobody would have been so triggered to make an issue out of nothing. You say things would be different if it was any other country. Amazon sells doormats with flags of many countries, but India is the one that made a fuss about it. No else was triggered. That you so easily assume things would have been very different if it was another country is a reflection of your own insecurities.
Ah, there she is, my fav Indian who bad mouths her own mother land, how cool is that.
I guess you have are unable to disagree with anything in my post, so you're focussing on me instead! And what makes you think India is my "mother land"? And even if it is, I don't see any reason to be biased for or against any country for that matter.
May be the only time I a may agree with @techladki. Lol @neshama to be honest, to sum up this post " hmm I havnt found something to rant and complain in a while, let me see, oh ! Look, this foreign actor has held up our flag reverse by mistake ! Blasphemy! I'm so annoyed , and let me rant !" Think about it !, look how trivial u are acting. In India, I have seen ZERO respect for one another. No one waits for another person. No one is considerate. They litter everywhere and blame the govt for it. And are we really in a position to ask for an apology for holding a flag reverse by mistake? Double standards ?
All of these are valid issues to be ashamed of. No denying it. But I do not agree it is pretty what is discussed here. If it is, then Amazon selling Indian flag as door mat is petty too. Why fight it, when go mutra is sold in Amazon India, we have no problem with that.
Tech ladki has been very consistent (and blunt) in her views. So you’d either agree always or never! How come only once?
Indians are in the phase of pseudo nationalism much like the Germany of Hitler. People are programmed to get riled up on non issues.
I know right ? I don't get it. It's almost like a kid on steroids. Not sure what came of my countrymen , In the process of concentrating on such idiotic trivial matters they let the big issues slip .
Unfortunately, the educated have fallen prey to this "programming" done by this fascist regime.
If you want to “As a nation, we need to start caring about our image” you should stop Indian H1B abusing practices.
Agree a 100 percent. That and everything else everyone else said here and in so many other threads

Typical Indian insecurity
