Riot Games Fighting Game

I think it'll expand upon the ideas in Rising Thunder - easy to learn, hard to master combat mechanics though hopefully more akin to KI than RT. I think they'll throw the weight of their eSports operation behind it which will give it a great chance of success. And, if they are feeling clever, they'll set it in the Universe of league. I'm excited for it since if they approach it right. It'll push Fighting Games further forward.

It absolutely won’t be a game the scale of league or even close unless they’ve done something actually revolutionary Which is fine, theres nothing wrong with not making a massive hit game every time, but I have to believe that’s what they’re hoping for given the amount of time they’ve taken to come up with it If i had to guess there will be elements of smash since that involves team play (and its one of the most successful fighting games of all time), probably user rank tiers, some level of community, esports blah blah Every major company is just trying to make the streamer/esport formula work, everyone’s trying to make a game with a large userbase and cosmetic items or subscriptions Just have to see how it ends up I guess
