Rivian, Lucid, and especially all the other me-too EVs have NO product. Prototypes are not mass produced and reliable vehicles. The product of a car company is really the advanced factory tech that makes good cars. They are where Tesla was back in 2008! with the roadster. Musk said by far the toughest part of Teslas entire existence was scaling up Model 3 production. That is, going from already producing thousands of desirable cars, to then 100xโ€™ing production of huge PHYSICAL goods. Steer clear until theyโ€™re worth less than $5b or are shipping boatloads defect free from giant factories.

If not, well then I have a promising AI startup for you to invest in, my Django prototype is the shit, you can get in now for just $10b, itโ€™s gonna be the next Google ๐Ÿ‘Œ

The issue is your thinking from a different perspective. Look at LCID, NIO, TSLA, etc, all not even near their market valuations. The difference is we have a confirmed deal with Amazon to deliver 100k prime vans, and have already delivered first few hundred, not to mention that side of the business is significantly larger, which a company like LCID doesnt have yet has a 50B valuation. From that perspective, 60B is more than justified, factoring in growth potential.

You have a deal, a deal isnโ€™t worth $60b, itโ€™s worth 100k * 5k profit margin = 500m of market cap. Do not justify your market cap by comparing to lucid, it just makes it look โ€œless bad.โ€ Nio and Tesla are also severely overpriced. 60b is more than the market cap of Honda, who ships 6m units every single year of reliable vehicles. Theyโ€™ll catch up on battery drivetrains the same as VW, Lucid, Rivian, GM, etc because all of you can do the basics but none have the immense battery engineering teams with a decade of progress like Tesla has done. Then even if you can ship 6 figures of units a year, youโ€™re still a me-too EV selling for $70k. Tesla had the first cachet back in 2012 with that price for Model Sโ€™s, 10 years later you guys are here? Mach E and ID.4 are selling for 42k, not sure why anyone but niche luxury car lovers are gonna drop 70k.

Ah yes, only invest after they have proven to build cars for the masses and ONLY if the stock price is still low then. This is how all the comments sound like.

    Have fun staying poor!

I recommend you all to check out the way back machine to dig on Tesla sentiment back in 2017- 2018. You could very easily find these kind of hate. Look at where they are now.

Looking at Rivian I see the same thing today. Just a reminder, history really repeats itself.
