    Thanks for the recommendation. They seem to have decent places there. I’ve heard Venice is not very pleasant.

    You can stay in venice neighborhood which would be very near. If you’re okay with some traveling then can stay in torrance, it will be quite cheaper in that case.

    I once rented from theblueground.com in K-town. The price was pretty reasonable (esp. with discount when you're flexible with move-in period). I'm impressed by the quality of the apartment. Their support is fairly good too.

    Airbnb is a good option in case of temporary housing, others I know mostly rented an apartment by applying (since most of them were long term in that palms/cc area and there are lots of real estate work happening in Culver City area). Also you can check the site other person mentioned, since he/she rented from there it’s a verified source.
