What to do for insurance while changing jobs?

If I plan to quit today and join another company next month so that I can have a one month vacation, wouldn’t my health insurance be an issue for this in between period?
What should I do?

Check the fine print, though.
For the next month use Cobra, should you need it. Join the new firm on the last week, so that the month after, you will have insurance.
