Accidentally typed .01 as top instead of 1.00. Got the notification on my phone "your Uber eats driver has thanked you for the tip!" Seems they appreciated .01 so i will keep tipping .01

food was still hot w/ no tip btw. if they screw it up too many times they get a low rating and get blocked
so 5 stars is the new 20%
two year old survey shows people tipping and these tip expectations have inflated
https://www.businessinsider.com/personal-finance/how-much-you-should-tip-food-delivery-2019-7
It helps break the system because I lower the mean payment waiters and delivery people receive, and if enough people do that, they'll start leaving these jobs, and the apps/restaurants will have to up the wages to keep them. The difference my tips make is never going to be food on their table. It'll be the difference between comfortable and uncomfortable wages. Don't exaggerate, starving to death is a negligible % of US deaths. Virtually unheard of for someone to die this way, even the homeless in this nation are more often overweight than underweight.
It will help the broken system because the broken system is changeable. I know because it has changed in other nations. By what reason do you feel economic laws do not apply to the tipping culture, and it has special immunity?
Please tip them 30% so we average out to 15 😂😂😂
