I use Robinhood heavily for trading and recently stonks of Robinhood have been tanking. I am concerned should I move money out of Robinhood and invest via some other platform. Please suggest.. #investments #stocks #trading #tradingtech #personalfinance #robinhood #fidelityinvestments #vanguard YOE: 8 TC : š„
I donāt understand the appeal for RH. Fidelity, E*TRADE, etc are far superior.
UI is really simple n sleek for Robinhood š mobile-friendly
No transaction fees
Of source I would trust RH - thatās the future of investing. Old names like fidelity Schwab suck
Sure hope not. The future of investing should be high fees, low quality service, and poor support.
Moved everything out of Robinhood to fidelity. Free trades in fidelity, plus superior tools, and much secure. You canāt go wrong with Fidelity
Could you explain the superior tools. I am thinking of moving to fidelity
I personally cannot stand Robinhood UI. You are better off going with a serious broker anyway
I do my own research to do stocks n have been fairly successful at it. What is the added benefit youād get with a serious broker?
The only reason one would use RH is if all one does is to blindly throw money at tickers with the least amount of clicks required. RH lacks a lot of features that come with an account from a well established brokerage. Comparing RH to E*, Charles Schwab, TD, etc. is like comparing McDonalds to a Michelin Star Restaurant.
Nope! I personally use RH just to click n buy after relying on research done outside of the app. Could you share what specific features that u find helpful that RH doesnāt have and other apps provide you with?
ira accountsļ¼OTC stocksļ¼ can long and short, other markets such as Canada and hongkong, better execution, better chart and option strategies
Yes, pick any other platform and get lower cost, higher quality product, and access to support. Hopefully rh allows you to withdraw your money, they don't always lol.
Could you share details of it not allowing to withdraw ?
Literally anything else would be better than RH lmao
People doing investment because ui is good. Mind blowing. Even when it has proven track record of screwing itās own customers. You guys are made for each other.
I guess it has screwed where ppl have attempted to gamble. It would be the case for any other platform. Please share if you have some solid points to compare. BTW, ease of use is fundamental for any software for customer adoption š
RH was down during one of the bullish days. ACH spikes during GME saga was another example. There are some serious no-no's which big banks stick by to ensure customer availability and protection, and I just don't see RH on that level
There's also zero fee trading crypto and younger generation wants to do things on phone. I'm extremely bullish on RH stock and buying the dip. I don't use their platform because it encourages trading and there's no crypto wallet yet. They also closed buy side of book on GME / AMC which IMO was blatant market manipulation I use the UI to check out tickers and design option bets.
You must be average cost down all the time
I canāt find anywhere online talking about this
Ahh. New joiners leaking unannounced products like that makes me even more bearish lmao

The end of Backdoor Roth?!
You probably should not invest in stonks if u are asking this question . Your money is certainly safe in a CD :)
so uād hedge your bets on RH as much as you would do on trading stocks itself, if not RH uād do a CD? š I am sure thereās something in between n thatās what I am looking for!
