Hi all! I received an offer from Robinhood for a tech recruiter role yesterday and was wondering if anyone had insight into it’s culture? I want to gtfo of Amazon as fast as I can without walking into another sweatshop out of desperation. Remote/California Current TC: 114k New TC: 135k YOE: 5
Blind rule: Current TC, YOE and offer details or GTFO.
Is this SWE role ?
That feels low to me- especially in this market
Yea I know other tech companies are offering more but it’s still more than what I’m making now.
Idk but all I can say is the Robinhood recruiter I had was the best I've worked with
As a recruiter, do you face challenges when hiring for Amazon ?
Oh hell yea! My job is to convince people to work for Amazon and I’m so miserable there I can’t even convince myself!
Looks like everyone give Amazon interviews for competing offers
Our recruiting team is awesome, I'm an engineer and genuinely pleased working with them.
Yea I hear a lot of good things about Robinhood. Everyone I interviewed with was awesome too!
Loved working with the tech recruiter who helped me join the company. I can’t speak to their workload, but they are awesome people!
OP did you join RH ?
Offer details please and YOE. It helps there community to know where they stand.
Updated!
