Robinhood offer
Hi Guys, Received an offer from Robinhood with TC 300K in Menlo Park location. As of now employees have to return to office after feb 2022. I am based out of Seattle and want to settle down here. I have requested the recruiter to look for any openings in Seattle but it is a strong NO. Haven’t received any other Faang offers except Amazon. Is it possible to move to a team within Robinhood after joining? I appreciate any insights that help! According to nerdwallet COL calculator, assuming you’d live in sf, 300k income is equivalent to 239k in Seattle. Do you want to move away from the city you want to live in for a 40k gain? Maybe, but it’s worth putting the numbers in perspective
Thanks for pointing that out. I should have mentioned in the post that the backend opportunity at Robinhood is exciting and will help me with my career. That is one of the main reason for this dilemma more than the TC. I really do want to work at start up in a fast paced environment

There is good internal mobility between teams. But you'll probably want to stay on first team 1-1.5 years minimum Also, there's less team variety in non Menlo park offices, so you might not find an interesting one to join

U can work in MPK for a couple of years and move back to Seattle. Don’t overthink if you want to learn
