Roblox IC6 - Data Science - nuts TC 🤯
Sharing info here: just jumped off a screening phone call with HR from Roblox. Data science range from IC3 to IC6 with TC for IC6: $360k base + $750k RSU 🤯 [EDIT] : this is for pure information only, I haven’t gone through first round yet. It will help people to decide whether it’s worth applying or not. [EDIT 2] : DM for interview questions and process.
750k per year?
I didn’t get wether it was per year or for 4 years. My mind was stuck at the $360k base per year 😅. Also HR didn’t share range, just numbers, so there could still be potential for more.

Roblox vs google for same TC - what do you choose?
Still need to get an offer first 😅. Even IC6 at Facebook doesn’t pay $360k base. Roblox is the new Netflix in term of TC.
Why you stuck on base so much? Look at overall comp and weigh in your offers. Roblox is a young company so there's more risk/reward and they compensate you accordingly. FAANG companies on the flip side have been around for a while and still offer your competitive TC so you lower your risk and also the reward.
That’s probably the data science & analytics org. Analytics won’t be paid the same grade as actual data scientists
Donnu, they only have 35 Data scientists in a 1200 people org I was told.

All employees back at the office seems like a disaster waiting to happen. I’m curious if this no wfh is for the team you’re interviewing or company wide. There may be exceptions??
How is the interview process?
Quite long I was explained: 2 separate 1:1, then one 6hr technical onsite, then one 2-3hr biz onsite.
What does biz onsite entail?

People reports TC but no way to verify. Especially no one reports the appreciation of their stocks. Here I got confirmation straight from HR’s mouth.
That's funny because HR is the least reliable source of those you mentioned. That said what do you find nuts here?
