Hi,
I have onsite interview with Roblox for senior software engineer role. I am asked to bring laptop. What is the interview structure at Roblox? Will I be asked to code DS and algo questions on laptop or will i be asked to build some kind of web service? Please help.

    They will give you a set of requirements, and you will have to build a functional program based on those requirements. You can use whatever programming IDE and language that you prefer. Normally you will have 2 to 3 hours for the exercise. At the end of the exercise, you will have to walk through your code and logic with an interviewer. It's not difficult, but you probably won't have enough time to finish the entire thing.

    Interviewers usually look for your coding style, choices of data structure, software engineering patterns, and maybe how you name your variables and functions, but that seems trivial.

    They rang me 3 days before interview and told me. Then they cancelled the interview the day before.

    I was asked to bring a laptop, but only used it in one of my interviews

    The one that I did use it in was a normal technical interview but with a running program (rather than just whiteboard code)
