I recently gave an interview with Roblox and expecting an offer from them. I want to know whether they give stock options or RSUs and what does the compensation structure looks like? Yoe: 5 current tc: 195k

The biggest benefit of RSUs is downside protection and in a rapidly growing and scaling company like Roblox, that’s not the biggest concern. Liquidity is a valid concern, as it’s not yet a public company. If you think the stock options aren’t going to be worth anything or if you think that Roblox is a “game” company, you haven’t been paying attention.
As a former game industry employee, I would guess: $130k base + lots of worthless stock options. They aren’t public so you wouldn’t get RSUs.
This didn’t age well. My friend at Roblox started toward the end of 2019 and is 75% vested. His “worthless” stock options range between $3-$8 million depending on how cranky the stock market is.
