Roku - why keeps freezing
Roku people, can you advise what to do? Your device keeps freezing and the remote doesn't respond. Already has customer service send me a replacement after cringing with them for 2+ weeks. Is there a specific model I should get that doesn't have problems? I like your service but this sucks Edit: It's the streaming stick+ - it just randomly starts freezing / not responding / lagging for a good 10-20 seconds I switched it to a 5g network + diff channel per some FAQs 🧐🧐 Should that help? Or would buying the box model help?
The solution is to buy an NVIDIA Shield.

Which model is it? Have you checked batteries of the remote. With RF remote they can die fast if you often use headphone Jack in the remote.

Some apps are heavy for the low end models.
Can you give some details on the model you have? And what you were doing when it crashed/froze?

That is a bit unusual. Does your new device work better? Have you tried testing your WiFi? Is your device far or close to your WiFi router?
Usually it's your wifi. Connect with ethernet cable see if that solves it.

I think it's a bot which infiltrated blind for a while before the admins detected it.
