Job opportunity at Lincoln Financial? is the move worth it?
Hi all, I’m currently working as a Software Engineer at Liberty, and applied to Lincoln Financial group via referral from a friend. Currently my salary is 85k, and received and 8k bonus last year. Lincoln is offering me 95k starting salary with a 6k bonus. Does that seem like a good enough offer to make the switch?

No. And neither of those companies is going to be worth it. Go to Wayfair, TripAdvisor or Hubspot

Yes I have met the team and it seems like they’re pretty great and pushing for change over in that area. One of the few fully agile teams within the company
Why not grind leetcode and apply for FANG? Honestly unless you want more of the same kind of work with a shittier carrier then I’d leave insurance altogether.
Definitely want to make that move for sure, just not able to move out to the where the majority of those companies are located atm
