Best place to sell new BMW?

Any suggestions on best place to sell BMW? Its 2016 model. It works great and no issues with it. I just don't want to pay monthly installments anymore. Looking for good return value.

    So you took the max depreciation of the first year of ownership and now want to sell it.. this is sadly not a great idea for a "good return value" though I understand that you have a valid reason for doing this.

      OP the other answers suggesting it's a bad idea are only partially honest.

      yes, after 1 year is the worst time to sell *for any given car*. however, if you've learnt in one year that the social symbol of a BMW isn't worth it to you and want to downgrade to a more economical one, that car will almost certainly cost you less than the BMW.

      basically, owning expensive cars comes down to some combo of social status broadcast and desire to feel the power of the engine. if those don't apply to you (any more), there's little value in owning a BMW.

      agree to what you said. i still have 4 years to pay monthly installments and long term it will be good decision to sell it off right now. I will see how much carmax, shift quotes and then decide accordingly.

    yes..you took a massive depreciation hit and you want to absorb that immediately and not to mention the cost of new car and all related taxes and fees..

    You'll get the most return selling to a private party, but that's also the most work. CarMax, Shift, Vroom, dealerships, etc. are less work but will also pay less
