I was coming out of an open house and fell down from on the last few steps of the staircase on the street. A chinese family was entering the house. They kept looking and me, walked past me, said nothing to me, offered no help even though I was in pain. I almost snarked thank you for asking if I am doing okay. What are some rude behaviors you have witnessed? Btw- some people are seeing a racial angle to this, that’s on you. I am merely stating some description about the people I am talking about. I don’t want to racially profile anyone.
Its different culture, don’t be such an asshole !
Seriously some Chinese from the mainland are super rude. Not the Americanized ones so much though. I think this is how they behave in China. Sorry this happened to you. You should’ve said something to them but nothing racial bc then you lose all credibility.
Get up and move on.
Next you ll say they did not put antiseptic cream on my wounds and did not give me a Gatorade. Are you like a 5 year old?
Lol
Helping someone or showing concern is a behavior you only exhibit with 5 year olds? 🙄
They might yet not know that interacting with strangers and offering help is fine in America. Add to it potential language barrier. Back home, there are just so many people and so many incidences one comes across daily that people just learn to ignore everything that goes around and keep focused on getting their own shit done. That’s what people here mean when they say “its a cultural thing”.
Yeah, I help you and then you sue me. That’s what Americans do, sue. I personally try not to be a Good Samaritan in this country. There are thousands of such examples. And your entitled attitude is a big red flag. And yes, you do sound racist. There’s no need to mention they were Chinese. It adds no value to this story, other than you being a possible racist.
is the title about yourself?
Maybe it's bc they were startled and didn't want to get involved? Way to put urself in others shoes u set-centered 56
Wow. Entitled much?
So, if i see you fall down from stairs and see that you are hurt and walk past you, you will be perfectly okay?
You need to travel more to familiarize with different cultures. You should not feel entitled to be asked if you are okay.
