Everyday seeing new E5s get hired who are not as useful to the company as me making ~$100k more than I am is debilitating.

I want to protest with my feet and start Leetcoding but I don’t even have the time to because people are pinging me every 5 seconds and work is never ending.

I was going to ping my director and ask for more compensation (in form of additional equity) but I just got re-orged and the new director has no clue who I am.

Bout to hit cliff in 5 months, so TC would be even lower probs.

Fuck!

      If you are actually good at your job you will find another one. Your former coworkers will vouch for you if you are worth your salt and not an ahole. Telling me you can’t make your way and pay for a max 70k tuition on savings from a 350k salary is bs. You just don’t want to give up your lifestyle you have for a couple months for long term gains. If what you are saying about salary is true, it’s a no brainier, take a few months off. I was unemployed for 3 months and a company low balled me. I knew they knew I needed a job (bad interviewing) but I knew they were taking advantage of me so I told them to fuck off (in a nicer way). Yes, I couldn’t eat out for a couple months or go to the bar with my friends but after those two months I was offered double the TC and much better working conditions. Make a smart decision quit. It’s obvious they are overworking u too.

      Bay Area max is 214k base, 700k RSU, 100k sign-on. With perf bonus it's: 214 * 1.15 + 700 / 4 = $421k

      Source: I was offered that but declined as I make close to $480k right now.
