Some senators in the judiciary are trying to add the per country bill to the asylum bill as an amedment. if this happens, the S.386 will pass the Senate without any hearing or discussions. . It can't be racist if the same rules apply to everyone, and they do. 7% for all countries. Except India, they get like 18%. So in a way the rules are racist to everyone except India, a country that gets an extra privilege
there is a problem in the gc queue, for sure, it's contained now in the india queue, the new bill will make it a problem for everybody from now on....sadly that's the result of a broken system...but maybe this will incentives them to actually fix it sooner than later? i don't know
They aren't adding it to asylum bill. This is a rumor spread by a lobbyist named BM who is trying to stay relevant. His plan is to then say he thwarted adding. IV made a statement that this isn't the case. How long will the Iranians will keep getting conned? π€¦π½ββοΈ Oh and they made the statement yesterday - so it's not like the calls you made today change anything. So peace.

Yep and the worst part is they are getting conned left right and center. Their mail to everyone seems like today was do or die day. While I disagree with everything, I still respect their passion. I feel bad how they are getting conned by BM. 30k and now playing with their passion. π€¦π½ββοΈ For a lobbyist, foot soldiers are important. These folks simply serve that tool for BM whose real goal is only about nurse issue. If, for the sake of argument, nurse issue is resolved, he will surely put these folks under the bus.

those consultancy companies screwed qualified indians out of their green cards, now they are gonna screw everybody else as well... my prediction...next year no body will get an h1b, they will make a full blown assault on the system...
So who should fix all these loopholes? Immigration in US is a joke. So many folks exploit it and no one cares Also, people care only when it hurts them. Be it immigration or anything else.
i think they are trying to partially fix it, but they don't realize the crooked companies won't stop there and will wreak havoc on the whole system
