Im getting an offer for PWC as a manager role in the consulting side they are offering 80k with 5K bonus in Houston, TX area. Is this a low offer I feel like it is ?? Update: so heard back from the recruiter apparently she was new and told me the wrong offer verbally. The offer is actually 140k! (Phew) I had a question though theres a signing bonus for 20K but payable if i leave before 2 years is that standard or is that something i can negotiate with the time frame say a year ? Thanks for all the help and feedback!! YOE:6
Extremely low. I manage Senior Consultants in Houston/Dallas markets that make more than that. I had 4 direct reports under me. 1 associate, 1 experience associate and 2 seniors. Salaries below: 1 associate (college hire): 64k, 5k sign on (Houston) 1 exp associate (3 YOE): 72k, 5k sign on (Dallas) 1 senior (S1): 92k (Dallas) 1 senior (S2): 108k (Houston) Manager should be $110-140 depending on role/team and YOE Good luck!
In advisory? I make 125 TC as an S2
Hi, can I DM about a referral?
PwC Manager in Consulting should start with 150+ on base pay with bonus ranging from 6-27%. This doesn’t look like consulting manager position
Is this for an AC (acceleration center - Columbia NC) based role?
Im a Proposal Writer Manager at PwC and I make 110k. I made 100k for similar roles at 1,200-person firms before this, so 80k sounds very low. I also have 6 yoe.
Very low offer at M level across any side of consulting within PwC. Should definitely be $160k - $180k if non-MBA and $180k-$200k if MBA
The lowest according to our cohort for tech/management consulting for Houston and a manager is 143 (basing this one the excel sheet that goes around with salaries)
That’s a very low offer. I’m a NYC manager in the CMAAS practice, which is part of consulting. My base pay is $157,500.
80k to me would indicate it's not a consulting role and is in our onshore acceleration center. Consulting M at PwC starts around 130k
Can you just confirm with them that this isn't a role to manage all the Janitors who work there?
I was shocked myself !! 😋
