SAP Fragomen H1 documents process time
Recently received offer from SAP Concur. I am on OPT and eligible to file for H1 in this April. But the HR however informed me that they will expedite the process but ultimately it depends on the lawyers at Fragomen. Do you guys from your experience think that 1 month is a good enough time and that I can bank on Fragomen guys to process H1B in a timely manner?
Similar situation. Joining Amazon or Twitter. But irrespective, I’ve been told if I join before March 15, I’ll be good for the immigration paperworks.
This Fragomen guys are super lazy and irresponsible. You have to run behind them and escalate to get things done. I don’t know how they are still in business with SAP. SAP HR should do a survey to find out how many people have suffered due to this unprofessional company.
True that , my friend works for SAP concur and fragomen just made him cry by delaying the H1-B
They totally suck. I had to pull my hair to get my extension done. Even after giving all documents it took them 4 months to process and that is after several escalations. I have heard similar stories from others as well.
When I was hired, Fragomen was awesome and my recruiter was horrible! Just keep on Fragomen and they should help you.
I found Fragomen to be very unresponsive and provide poor legal advice. Put simply, they do not represent you, they represent SAP. If you want someone to represent you, hire an attorney. M
Fragomen is really late, keep following them every day and make sure you review documents by your own.
Thank you all for the responses. So the recruiter told me that as soon as I accept the offer....they will ask me for documents after 2 weeks. I am just trying not to lose one chance at the lottery. Is there anyone in the company who can expedite this process?
I think this is a good timeline to start. You can request to start before 2 week. Once it starts dont delay in your response and keep follow up with fragomen. Keep your all document ready, that's the best you can do. Best luck for lottery.
I didn't exactly understand requesting to start before 2 weeks. They said it will take at least 2 weeks for the internal processes to complete and fragomen to get back to me with a questionnare
Fragomen is horrible. They made a mistake in my passport number, invalid phone number and inconsistent addresses. Tha passport number was also wrong from another friend of mine at sap
Can I ask the recruiter that I will join SAP once I get the confirmation that my LCA is filed? How does that going back and saying this after signing the offer letter look like? I signed the offer letter 2 days back. Thank you
Yes. 1 month is enough. Make sure they file your LCA within next 2 weeks.
